The use of new technology has influenced this greatly as many people found out about it via the internet, apps and social networks. By using these technologys means that word of this film can spread much fast that when it was just shown on facebook, for example you could post it on facebook, some one can see it and share it, then there friend can share it and so on, hence how someone can become and internet sensation over night.

The fact that this movie came out close to halloween time would increase client demand and more people would be looking for a scary more round that time.
